I have dedicated my life to be of the highest service.  I have always trusted my higher guidance, my psychic abilities, and the ability to foresee situations and act accordingly.

It’s all about service for Melissa Boyd.  Reiki Master, yoga instructor, sound healer and Psychic Medium… all hats she wears, and all vocations she shares in service to others.  “I have dedicated my life to be of the highest service.  I have always trusted my higher guidance, my psychic abilities, and the ability to foresee situations and act accordingly,” says Ms. Boyd who recently shared her talents as a presenter at Cape Cod’s Love Yoga Fest.  Totally transparent, she shares her story of having found yoga at a point in her life when she weighed 340 pounds.  She credits the practice with helping her to shed 170 pounds of that extra weight and thus prompting her to become a certified yoga instructor.

Since her pre-teens, Melissa has seen energy and communicated with people who have crossed over into the next world. “From a young age, I would ‘know’ things before they happened and hear spirits giving details about family members and people who had crossed over. But many of us have forgotten we are cosmic souls with unlimited potential.  Some of us have had to struggle to find our pathway to optimum health and happiness, and I am one of those individuals.”  In her teachings to clients around the globe, she weaves her channeling skills into her yoga.  Her signature approach will now be available to wider audiences in the form of an international program called Grow Your Knowing: Yoga and Intuition and Yoga and Mediumship, which she will soon launch publicly.

One might think M. Boyd could at this point rest on her very deep resume, but she sees her continued spiritual development as “essential” and the studies continue. She credits well-known high vibrational teachers including James Van Praagh, Deepak Chopra, Tony Stockwell, Dr. Stephen Covey, Val Williams, Panache Desai, Yogi Desai, and His Holiness the Dalai Lama, all with whom she has studied, for her ongoing growth.  Melissa’s new book titled, Intuition: Growing your Knowing, will be published in 2017. wind up… how do you wind up, prepare for the week ahead? 

Take a Salt bath, meditate in a copper pyramid, chant the Gaiatri Mantra and run on the beach with my dog Nelson Mandela and my wife Andrea.

and, when you need to exhale, what’s your other direction? 

Breathe in wise, exhale mind.

when you look around the world, where do you see beauty?

In nature,all animals especially my dog Nelson Mandela and in the hearts of billions of smiles.

you recently presented at the loveyogafest on cape cod?  can you share a bit of your role in that weekend?

This was my first year at the LoveYoga Fest on Cape Cod. I taught Vibrational Yoga: Hear from Spirit and Deepen Your Soul where we clear and tone chakras with frequencies, claim our divinity and then I channeled messages from departed loved ones in spirit.  Additionally, I led a group on Yoga and Recovery with the focus on the sympathetic  and parasympathetic nervous system.  Each class is unique where I provide soul tools for soul development.  I teach people to listen to the child within and awaken their magic.
