So excited to be welcoming Brock Cahill (along with his wife Krista ) to Boston on Super Bowl Sunday for SUPERFLOW. Brock is an instructor with YogaWorks, Equinox Fitness and Yoga Salt. Great to catch up with him here in advance of his upcoming east coast appearance…
wind up… how do you wind up, prepare for the week ahead?
like a lotta folks, the best way to psych myself up is through really great music! i enjoy threading musical gems together that will create a wonderful sequence of rhythm and melody, and a soundtrack to practice that when interwoven, the similarities, the differences, the common themes, the oppositions, meld into something much more beautiful and powerful than any single piece of the puzzle. the same can be said of asana and sequencing. the same can be said of the yoga community and the laws of union. for instance when a drop of water falls into the ocean, it does not diminish the power of the individual, but yolks it into something with much greater impact and depth.
and, when you need to exhale… what’s your other direction?
when i need to blow off some steam and get a breath of fresh air, i head out to sea. i find limitless space and freedom by harnessing the power of the wind on my antique wooden sailboat, or by diving beneath the surface to commune with self and soul in the inner sanctum of earth.
favorite high powered snack?

what three things are you never without?
