As with last year’s SUPERFLOW, participants can expect an energized master practice presented in a seamless flow by David, Anthony, Sienna and Felicia.  Complementing the practice will again be that incomparable view of Boston’s Harbor as seen from the hotel. A perfect dristi as we practice our vrkasana (tree pose) and vhira bhadrasna (warrior) III poses!  New for 2017 will be a morning Talking Points panel discussion which will focus on yoga’s role in our modern world.  Stay tuned for details on the group of industry leaders we’ve assembled for this portion of SUPERFLOW.  The expanded event will also feature guided meditation, music and an array of artisans and others trading in the yoga and healthy living world. With a wrap up in the late afternoon, there will be plenty of time for the football fans on hand to get home and enjoy the big game!

Lucy Grogan was 8 years old when she was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. Throughout Lucy’s long illness, concerned individuals raised money to help support Lucy.  Through that support she learned about the benefits of adding integrative therapies such as massage, yoga, acupuncture, art therapy, and therapeutic horseback riding to her treatment plan.  When Lucy was 11, she told her mother that when she was “done with cancer” she wanted to start a program that would provide free integrative therapies to all children with cancer to help manage the side effects and late effects of traditional cancer treatment. Since 2006, Lucy’s Love Bus has helped deliver love and comfort to over 750 children with cancer.

In the words of the organization’s Co-Founder and Executive Director Beecher Grogan… “We are so excited and deeply honored that SUPERFLOW chose to highlight Love Bus at your amazing event!” Needless to say, the feeling is mutual. BOSTON YOGA/LA YOGA is honored to support the work of this amazing organization while we present a healthy alternative on Super Bowl Sunday.  Let’s go Boston…  See you at SUPERFLOW!
